He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics and Finance in 1982.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and Independent Auditor.

Ekrem Kayı served as an Account Expert and Chief Account Expert at the Ministry of Finance, Board of Account Experts between 1982 and 1994.

In 1990-1991, he was in England to conduct research and studies on professional issues.

In 1994, he joined Denge İzmir Bağımsız Denetim ve YMM A.Ş. as a CPA and company partner.

Ekrem Kayı has written various articles in newspapers and magazines on tax and accounting practices and organized seminars, panels and conferences on professional subjects.

He is registered in Izmir Chamber of Certified Public Accountants and as a member of Aegean Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (ESİAD), he actively participates in several technical committees.

He has extensive knowledge and experience in tax and accounting practices in various sectors.
